What is Camtasia Studio?

The software is frequently recommended (and used) for the purpose of creating demonstrations, training or tutorials enriched with software or application.

What can I do with Camtasia Studio?

Particularly complete, the Camtasia studio suite will accompany the user throughout his creative process.

It allows to record the user's actions on all or part of his screen (thanks to the Screen Recorder) as do, for example, Bandicam or FastStone Capture but it does not stop there. Camtasia Studio: Capture

As mentioned earlier, Camtasia Studio makes it easy to capture screenshots while adding an audio narration or accompanied by video.

Note that once the capture is launched, the user can:
Refer to a stopwatch (and optionally observe the current recording statistics)
Adjust the volume of the sound on the fly
Lay markers to be used for assembly
Draw live on-screen (pencil, highlighting, rectangles and / or ellipses)

If it is wrong during its registration, the user can restart a new capture in two clicks (button "delete"). Of course, certain functions (including the transport functions: Rec, Pause, Stop, Marker) can be accessed directly by keyboard shortcut.

Camtasia Studio: editing

Camtasia Studio is particularly rich in functionality, but it is not an incomprehensible gas plant. On the contrary, with an interface that can not be clearer, it will allow all-one to quickly become familiar with its environment.

In addition to editing live video and audio, users can import images, audio and video (up to 4K) onto virtually unlimited tracks.

Camtasia Studio: formats, compatibility, connectivity

In addition to allowing standard export to a file, the software offers connectivity to some of the largest streaming or online storage services. The user will be able to export his work to screencast.com, Vimeo, YouTube, GoogleDrive (or via Camtasia's My Places service which allows you to configure other fast destinations).

Camtasia Studio's preferred production format is the MP4, but it can save the output file in the following formats: WMV, AVI, GIF or M4A. Note that for now, the software supports H.264 but not yet H.265.
